Information provided by CompassMK relating to all companies registered to buy or sell equipment through the CompassMK website must be treated as strictly private and confidential.
Equipment to be sold will be held at the vendor’s premises (unless otherwise agreed) until a sale has been achieved.
The vendor will provide specifications for the equipment for sale to the best of its knowledge.
CompassMK will not be held responsible for incorrect information provided by the vendor in relation to specifications for equipment.
Whilst CompassMK MAY have undertaken a check on the condition and operation of components making up the safety systems of equipment sold through this online service and brought to the attention of the purchaser any noted defects, this does not absolve the purchaser from their statutory duties under the Health & Safety At Work Act.
It is the responsibility of the vendor to inform CompassMK if the equipment is no longer available for sale.
The vendor will indicate a required sale price on the form provided. CompassMK will use its best endeavours to achieve this sale price and upon conclusion deduct 10% of the final selling price as a commission.
CompassMK will inform the vendor if offers have been made for equipment below the stated required selling price. The vendor will need to confirm in writing to CompassMK if they are willing to accept any lower offer received.
Payment by purchases will be invoiced direct through CompassMK and funds will be forwarded to the vendor as soon as they have cleared (less the 10% commission fee).
CompassMK accepts no responsibility for any goods purchased from vendors. Equipment is “purchased as seen”.
No refunds will be given for equipment purchased through the CompassMK buy or sell online facility.
Upon receipt of cleared funds, the vendor will be informed of the purchaser’s contact information so that delivery of the goods can be arranged direct.
Should the vendor or purchaser require CompassMK to collect/deliver the equipment, a fee will be quoted for this service.
